Left undescended testis is not a good sign as it has a tendency to get carcinomatosis. Get the opinion of Urologists Why surgery was done on rt. Testis? I don't think you have any chance. Get your Semen Analysis done. But most importantly get the undescended testis removed. As your age is almost 48.

Hello Undescended testis usually become atrophic or can lead to complications. If inside the body sperm formation will be affected due to relatively high temperature inside body.hence if it is brought back to scrotum it will function normally .you need only one functioning test for reproduction.

Because left testes was undescended, that might be not working in condition,  there is a little chance that it produces sperm, do semen analysis to check and report, if sperms are present then there are chances to become father. Good luck
