Unable to rotate finger joint
I experienced a deep cut on a finger joint & stitches weren't possible. Subsequently my finger was heavily bandaged & motion wasn't possible. After 3 weeks, the bandage has been removed though there is scab on the joint. I am unable to rotate the fingers. How should I facilitate the healing of the joint and would it leave a scar?

The extent of injury should be assessed by a orthopaedician and only then he or she can give a proper advice only on seeing the degree of injury. We can't treat you blindly without examination and seeing you.

Once the wound heals and scab falls off you can do hot fomentation and mobilization exercises. If however you find the movements are not getting better with exercises and you have some persistent pain you should consult an orthopaedic surgeon. Hope this helps

Injuries around the joint will lead to joint contractures and eventually stiffness unless dealt with aggressively.
Next Steps
See an orthopaedic surgeon for clinical examination and further treatment.

A deep cut will leave a scar,  but the scar should become lighter over time. Do not pick on the scab that has formed and let it fall off naturally. Giving the joint proper rest will help in healing.
