Hi,
I had a bout of diarrhea and stomach cramps and the cause was attributed to an infection. I was treated with a course of ornidazole tablets for a week. My diarrhea stopped immediately. I refrained from consuming lentils or channa during this period as it was told that it aggravated the infection. Then after a week or so I resumed lentils which again led to diarrhea and fever, body pain etc. Then I got treated with metronidazole, cefixime and ofloxacin for a week. The symptoms went away. Now after waiting for 2 weeks I resumed lentils and milk. I'm again having diarrhea. Is infection the reason or something else is going on? How should I approach the issue?
How should I compensate for the proteins? It has been a couple of months since my normal protein intake. I'm afraid I'll be malnourished without protein.
