Healthy morning ma’am, For ulcerative colitis, Some types of food such as lean proteins, peeled fruits and cooked vegetables, may help to reduce ulcerative colitis symptoms. High fibre, highly processed, and spicy foods may trigger the symptoms.

Foods consume includes: Low fiber fruits: such as banana, cooked and peeled fruits, avocado and mango. Non cruciferous vegetables: such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, cucumber and carrots Refined grain foods such as white pasta, white rice, oatmeal, and certain breads Omega -3 fatty acid rich foods such as salmon , mackerel, and walnut Low fat protein sources: fish , chicken, lamb, turkeys, eggs. It’s important to eat a well balanced diet of protein, fats and carbohydrates.
