Ulcer in osmf
Dear concern, Suffering from osmf...left tobacco 3 years back ...checked with ent doc when quit bad habits and getting treatment from there and in these 3 years things getting better as in mouth start getting pink but in small pace but from last 26 days getting this . something look like ulcer..using kenakort and taking antioxidant sm fibro..but still it's not getting any relif kind of thing ..please find the attached of this ulcer look things.. worried that it won't be a cancerous ulcer...

That Can be advance stage of OSMF.. so please don't be worried about any malignancy,before any diagnosis.. .. You can continue using sm fibro, Kenacort.... That can be secondary overlying infection.. for that you can take Augmetin -625 3 times for 5 days with Betadine gargle and Zerodol-sp tab. 3times for 3 days , Pan-40 once in morning 30 min. before meal..

Hi dear u know that, u r suffering from OSMF but u not write complete your problems like -Ur mouth opening -Ur tongue protrusion (movement) - status of cheek blowing -status of uvula (swallowing conditions). Basically above sign & symptoms are required for ur stage. Here I telling you OSMF stages: Stage 1: only burning sensation Stage2: stage1+burning sensation with restricted mouth opening (3.5cm or more) Stage 3: stage2+ rest. mouth opening (2-3.5cm) with restricted tongue movement Stage 4: stage3 + rest. mouth opening (below 2cm)+difficulty in swallowing (deviated uvula) +/- unhealed ulcer In stage 4 sometimes it may gives symptoms of malignancy So for confirmatory diagnosis required its incisional biopsy. Hi My advice always would be all MG with your medication No spice(green chillies) No smoking or hot fermentation Any cheek bite Any sharp tooth Pls get that rectified All your medication is right Once out of lock down Meet your Dentist He will put you on to maxillo facial surgeon Gargle with chlohex If tooth is sharp immediately call your Dentist Get it round it off Tc Stay safe

No need to worry •.Apply ORAWAYS buccal paste thrice daily for 7 days •Diet modifications:- Green leafy vegetables, green tea,tomatoes,skimmed milk •Apply home made paste of tumeric (haldi)mixed with water thrice daily for 15 days •Avoid SLS containing toothpastes.You may do Himalaya Complete Care •Avoid alcohol and alcohol based mouthwashes like listerine •Avoid hot ,spicy,crunchy foods. ☆☆☆If no relief from all this till one week then biopsy should be planned

Looks like a leukoplakia,are u able to eat spicy foodstuffs? Keep applying kenacort Keep taking SM fibro Vitamin A supplements may help Quit habit Eat lots of green leafy veggies, drink plenty of water and fresh juicy fruits Visit ur oral surgeon after the lockdown is over

Looks like oral submucous fibrosis with hyper keratotic areas. As of now use antiseptic/ analgesic gel
