As per your history, need to monitor your vitals and stabilize if abnormal. I suggest you to meet a clinician today itself. Since fever and dysentery still persisting, need to give IV fluids and Intravenous antibiotics. Azithromycin 500mg once daily is an option of antibiotic to start if there is no previous allergy Taxim o is not responding, so need to switch immediately
Next Steps
suggest you to meet a clinician today itself for the further evaluation and treatment. Need to check the liver function, and other necessary tests Need to confirm the diagnosis of typhoid as the symptoms persists even after 2 weeks.
Health Tips
Can consult online for reviewing any investigation reports you have done for this illness and can guide you further.

Hello sir According to your history Hello. Your symptoms are NOT normal after 17 days of fever and 6 days of treatment. Persistent fever, weakness and dysentery suggest treatment failure or complications. This needs in-person evaluation urgently. You must do these immediately: 1. Get a CBC, LFT, RFT, electrolytes, blood culture, and repeat Widal/ Typhi-dot. 2. Stool routine and culture because you now have dysentery. 3. IV antibiotics may be required, depending on reports and hydration status. 4. Check for dehydration – if very weak, you may need admission for IV fluids. 5. Stop self-medication. Do not continue Won-Liv or other OTC medicines. Please visit a hospital TODAY.

You have been sick for 17 days, and after 6 full days of Taxim-O 200 you are still getting fever, loose stools, and severe weakness. In typhoid, this usually means that either the bacteria are not fully sensitive to the current antibiotic or there is dehydration and electrolyte imbalance causing the persistent symptoms. At this stage, continuing the same medicines at home will not give a speedy recovery. You need a proper re-evaluation with blood tests, stool test, and possibly a change to a stronger antibiotic that is given under medical supervision. Also, medications like Won-Liv can sometimes worsen nausea or loose stools, which is why you felt more unwell after taking them.
Next Steps
Right now, the safest plan is to be examined in person so we can check your hydration, blood pressure, and whether you need intravenous fluids or a different antibiotic course. Please do not wait further, because prolonged fever and weakness for this many days can cause complications. I can review your reports, adjust the treatment, and help you recover faster with the right antibiotics and supportive care.

Please share detailed history,  why was wonliv tab prescribed to you,  as it is used for gall bladder conditions? You need blood culture with drug sensitivity, injectable antibiotics and I.V. fluids urgently- all that would be possible after hospitalisation.

If you have not responded to the taxim o ,you may need different antibiotic.Ideally you should consult a physician in your area for the clinical examination, repeat blood tests and appropriate management,as 17 days duration is a bit long

Typhoid fever not improving after 6 days of Taxim-O + weakness + dysentery = you need immediate re-evaluation by a doctor. This is not normal. Key points: Taxim-O (cefixime) sometimes fails if the typhoid strain is resistant. Persistent fever > 5–7 days means you likely need a different antibiotic (usually azithromycin or IV ceftriaxone) after doctor evaluation. Won-Liv is not needed and may worsen your stomach—stop it. Severe weakness, bedridden state → you may need IV fluids, electrolytes, and hospital care to prevent dehydration. What to do NOW: Stop Won-Liv. Get urgent medical checkup for: Blood culture / Widal, Electrolytes, dehydration assessment. Do NOT wait at home, because prolonged typhoid can cause complications like intestinal bleeding or perforation
