1. Life Expectancy in Type 1 Diabetes:
A person with Type 1 Diabetes who takes insulin regularly, follows a healthy lifestyle, and keeps blood sugar well-controlled can live a long and healthy life, often close to normal life expectancy.
However, poor control over time can lead to complications (heart, kidneys, eyes, nerves) that may shorten lifespan.
Key to Longer Life with Type 1 Diabetes:
Daily insulin without fail
Regular blood sugar monitoring
Healthy diet, exercise
Annual check-ups (eyes, kidneys, etc.)

2. Is Type 1 Diabetes Sexually Transmitted?
No, Type 1 diabetes is not a sexually transmitted disease (STD).
It is an autoimmune condition, where the body’s immune system attacks the insulin-producing cells of the pancreas.

It's a pure endocrinal disorder ,your pancreatic beta cell is not producing enough Insulin , life long Insulin therapy is the treatment, life expectancy is like a normal individual ..
Hi,
If a type 1 diabetic is regular with treatment and also follows a good diet and exercise plan he/she can have a life expectancy close to that of a person without the disease
Usually, the disease is picked up later after kidney damage sets in. That reduces life expectancy
The disease is not sexually transmitted. However, children born to parents with type 1 DM can have a slightly higher risk of the disease as it is AUTOIMMUNE
