Am currently in my 29th week of pregnancy and asked to take bed rest till 34th week... My previous doctor had suggested me to monitor a count of minimum 12 movements per day. But my present doctor says it is not needed... I would like to know what I should be following since am having twin pregnancy... I have read in my places and heard from fellow twin pregnant ladies about keeping track of movements 10-12 per day... Please suggest me what is right...
Thank you in advance

Please be normal. Twin pregnancy is not a situation which happens once in a millenium. 1in 88 pregnancies will be twins.
If you have been keeping good health then you need not take any special precautions. This foetal movement count is for those where pregnancy is compromised due to growth problem of foetus. In any case , how will you know which foetus is moving?
You can avoid unusual exertion. You may avoid sexual intercourse in certain positions. You have to go for weekly check up with your Gynaecologist. Twin pregnancy may have some complications. If that happens then you have to act as per doctor's advice.

Hello
Usually there are less movements noticed during this time whereas they are well appreciated after 32 weeks
Just keep a-check of movement’s happening and not the no. of movements exactly
If any point of time you think you are not getting movements you can see a doctor
Consult if required
