SPECIMEN -BAL FLUID
My rif xpert tb pcr sputum- mtb not detected
MTB PCR test- bal fluid- MTB detected ( very low).
HRCT
Multilobar multifocal confluent foci of nodules and small foci of consolidation in right upper lobe and bilateral basal segments of lower lobe .
No pleural effusion..
Mediastinal paratracheal upto 9 mm,AP nodes upto 7 mm
Hilar- nill significant , right upto 6mm and left upto 7mm..
By this report am I infected with TB?
Should I continue the TB drugs??
I am puzzled.
