TB patient with diabetes
Dear Doctor, my mother has Tb completed 3months of treatment completed but sputum results show AFB seen and grading scanty,done gene expert test it says MTB Detected low,Rif restistance not detected doctor say to continue treatment is it correct approach, please advice

Thorough patient history and evaluation has to be done for detecting the source of TB bacilli. And to continue the HRE 3 drug CP regimen further . I am a Covid and TB specialist . Kindly book consultation for complete treatment approach and other investigations like Line Probe Assay.
