There are no special basic minerals and vitamins which should be taken before trying to conceive. You will appreciate that all these vitamins and vital trace elements and minerals have been around since about 200 years whereas the human race has been reproducing themselves since a few million years. So a good diet, a little bit of physical activity, leave the use of narcotics and tobacco , leading a normal life are good enough for reproduction in more than 90% cases. You should seek help from Reproduction experts if you can't conceive for a year in spite of following healthy habits.
