Tryglycerides
Hi, i got my lipid profile done and my triglycerides are 193 whereas as per normal limit , it should not be more than 150. Please advice how can i reduce them. My weight and BMI is normal. Its just that i delivered baby 8 months ago and i ate lot of desi ghee and physical activity is nil. Do i need medicine to lower down tryglycerides

Its common during lactation period..  Do regular walking, lactation... later after three months it reduces on its own

No medication required, do regular exercises and yoga. Avoid oily food

Reduce oily and fried food, exercise daily. Repeat lipid profile after 1 month, if normal, then no need to take medicine.
