Some people develop side effect from medications which needs to be addressed accordingly. Modifying your medications can help. If you wish, you can get a second opinion from.an astute psychiatrist either in person or online. Good luck
Divalproex and risperidone both may cause tremors of hand or restlessness of legs. U should 1.reduce the dose of risperidone 2. Add propranolol, 3. Add pregabalin. 4. Consult me on seven two nine seven zero nine zero nine nine eight.
Definitely tremors may result from both risperidone and valproate also may be the reason of comorbid anxiety. Generally tremors are more prominent in hands or may be generalised. There are other signs of side effects of medicines also. So detailed history needed about any current or elevation of dose. most important is tremors are early signs of treatment side effect not late. So history is a must. Then we can correctly say what would be the cause then we can have better management plan
Hi.. tremors can be a side effect of both valproate and risperidone. While risperidone induced tremors can be treated with THP... You may need propranolol and other medicines for valporate induced tremors.
