This technique re-anchors you in the present.
Clap your hands, stomp your feet, hold something cold (like an ice cube or a chilled bottle). Strong sensations bring you back into your body.
Say your name, today’s date, or where you are. Sometimes hearing your own voice helps you reconnect.
