My lower left wisdom tooth has come out but not in alignment with the rest of the teeth. It is sticking outward and rubbing against the skin inside. Is the what's causing the pain?

Hello, you can do warm salt water rinses, this will give you a temporary relief.visit a dentist and get it checked. get your X-ray done. if required get it removed.the best treatment for wisdom tooth is to get it removed.
Probably yes. This is a very common thing. Many at times there is not enough space for wisdom teeth to erupt. Please visit a dentist and get an OPG done.
Hello
Wisdom tooth out of alignment needs to be removed. Consult an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and get it removed as rubbing will result in ulceration and it may get infected as well.
Hi...there...
U need to get the consultation done...to confirm whether the tooth can b saved or to be removed...
Pain is becos of the skin that interferes while u open nd close the mouth...
So better it is to get it consulted before things get worse. ..
Next Steps
book an appointment. ...
apply some gel...on the skin causing irritation. ..
take routine pain killers
As our jaw size is small as compared to the teeth... The wisdom tooth being last to erupt in the mouth does not get proper space. So it causes pain and cheek biting. The proper treatment for the problem is to get it removed as it does not assist in eating as well.
Next Steps
visit an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for the extraction of the tooth
Health Tips
warm saline ( warm water with pinch of salt) rinses will help to relieve the pain temporarily.
Hello,
Mam you can consult an Oral surgeon and take his opinion. If the wisdom tooth is causing cheek bite you can opt for removal.
