Tooth pain and gum swelling
Hi doctor I got my tooth filling 3 month ago. Now I got a pus bump and my gums are swollen from one side. And I'm feeling pain. I search it and found symptoms related to dental abscess but I'm not sure. Is there a way to solve my problem without removing my teeth

hello mam this could be due to secondary infection to the tooth and usually this can be treated without removing the tooth but for that we need to first see your xray and then a proper treatment plan can be generated furthermore a proper medication is needed prior and during the treatment

Hii...If you are having a pus discharge related to the filled teeth, that means it involved the nerve of the teeth. Nothing to worry about. You need to have RCT done on that teeth... First confirm with the X ray. You should do this quick as it can turn to extraoral swelling too.

The tooth would have got decayed below the filling and the tooth pulp or what you call as nerve inside the teeth will be infected ,that's the reason you have swelling associated with pus.You have to go to a dentist, they will take an x-ray, ask you to take antibiotics and analgesic for pain and infection ,later Root canal treatment will be done.   This treatment will be done without removing the tooth.
