Tooth extraction
Hi..this is rakesh sharma from Bangalore..I have my wisdom tooth which is very sharp n is piercing through the skin , and isn't allowing me either to eat or drink anything..do I need to get my tooth extracted?

If sharp edge is the only problem, it can be rounded off by any dentist. For other problems u need to get it removed.

Yes definitely. You have to get it removed.
A direct clinical examination and a X ray would be taken prior, to know the proximity of the roots to the nerves ( canal) and the position of the teeth in the jaw.

Wisdom tooth which have not erupted out in line with rest of the teeth are always going to cause problem.
