Hello , my daughter is 3.4 years old. She is having tooth carries from 1 year. We visited so many pediatric dentists . All of them are suggesting root canal and I was very scared about the procedures and all. She is having pain over the teeth now and because of this pain, fever developed. Is there any gel or any specific tooth paste to reduce pain and tooth caries... thanks in advance

Hi, Pediatric dentist here. I understand as a parent why you may be alarmed about Root canal treatment, but from the pictures, the decay looks quite deep, so to treat the root cause of the problem root canal has been suggested. A pediatric dentist will give utmost importance to the child's health first while performing the treatment. Painkillers and antibiotics are going to give only temporary relief. Since this tooth is going to fall only in 6-8 years root canal would be the best option for your daughter to avoid future pain and fever.
Next Steps
Visit a pedodontist and discuss the pros and cons of treatment. There is nothing to panic about root canal. you can give her syp. meftal p for fever and pain relief
Health Tips
Avoid further cavities in her tooth. Use fluoridated toothpaste, brush her teeth twice a day for two mintues. Visit a pediatric dentist every 6 months and get fluoride application done to avoid future cavities
