Hello, the pain definitely is in your throat and feeling in ear due to the nerves. Maybe it was infection and treated by zifi. Most of antibiotics clear the infection but the inflammation caused by bacteria will subside over next few days. Take medications as adv below for few days
Next Steps
If its persistence after 2-3 days or increasing then consult an ENT specialist online or locally
Health Tips
1. Continue warm salt water gargles 3-4 times/day 2. Tab combiflam thrice daily 3. Avoid cold food items

It can be tonsillitis or can be small ulcers which are causing pain locally and also radiating to the ear. Please visit an Ent consultant for further evaluation. Can continue with mouth gargles and paracetamol for the pain..
