Yes, it may turn into a major problem, if you delay the treatment... There so many causes for tongue ulcer... It may be due to any sharp tooth or due to any systemic problems... If this ulcer turns into a severe one, then the healing will be delayed..... Already, its a delay the ulcer is been from past two months... So, immediately consult a Dentist, remove the cause factor and start the treatment...
