Tongue tie
My son who is 11 years old is facing a problem of TONGUE TIE. He has problem in his speech while using few words and when he talks. For ex. Ta he says tha, di he says dhi etc Likewise quite a lot problem with this. Kindly advide wat to do?

Hi , tongue tie is also know as Anklyloglossia. It fairly see in lot of children affecting speech.
Next Steps
Would be requiring tongue tie release.

Tongue ties can be corrected very easily by minor surgical procedures. Using latest technologies like laser these procedures are dealt routinely. My advise would be to get your child assessed by a speech therapist if it’s really due to the tongue tie. If yes proceed with frenectomy(procedure to release the tongue tie) as soon as possible.
