I have taken all the nessery food from time to time and drink a lot of water but am not able to gain my weight ?? I am very disappointed because i have an interview in IAF in few months so recommend me some tips and medicine ??

As per the details of your height & weight ideally your weight should be 70 kgs to be in the normal range of BMI. BMI 18.5-22.9 is an indicator of health calculated basis your height & weight. Difficulty in gaining weight can be due to various reasons and it is important to analayze the cause of it. That said, it is a gradual process and requires a lot of personalized approaches. Drastic changes or medications will give onlt short term results. Improving your overall intake of food and regularity in exeercise mainly strength training will help in gaining weight on scale.

As a start following guidelines can be of help -
1. Never skip meals, eat balanced meals
2. Ensure protein in the form of dals, pulses, sprouts, dairy products, non-veg, to be part of every meal
3. Incorporate healthy fats & calorie dense foods like nuts & oilseeds, dried fruits etc.
4. Have calorically dense foods such as milkshakes, lassi, chicken, paneer sandwich, peanut chikki, etc. Calorically dense vegetables are potato, yam, sweet potato.

There are several factors behind not gaining weight. A detailed information information is required to recommend specifically, like food habits, disease if any, biochemical parameters etc. You should follow protein rich nutritious diet, which contains good quality protein, like soyabean, dahi/ yoghurt, paneer, almond, cashew,.
