My son who is of 21 days and has got cleft palate. Can you please help me to know the best age to get repaired the cleft palate? Till what age can one wait for the treatment to be performed or is it better to get it done in earlier days? In what age will the recovery be easier for the child?

We can initially do a non surgical procedure called nasoalveolar moulding which should start as soon as possible.
It reduces the number of surgeries required later.
This procedure shall continue upto 6 months followed by surgical procedures.
