Tibia and fibula fracture
I am 22 and just got an accident on January23 2017 , and on January 26 i undergone bone nailing operation in which the doctors inserted two rods on both tibia and fibula of the right leg fitted with screws. Now 45 days over and doctor told me there is no need for bone grafting .They asked me to just do the psiotheraphy exercises . Now 50 days over . 1) will i able to walk properly after bone healing. 2)will they remove the rod inserted in the bone. 3)will there be any trouble in my future. 4)Can i hold or keep some heavy weights on my healed leg after one year

When ur bone unites u Wil not have any problem at all.  U can walk.  No need to remove that nail unless needed cos it's again a surgery.  To get full strength just continue physio.  It will take months for full strength

Hello. You seem very worried. Please share your X-rays, that will help to give an opinion. But most people recover well from this operation, it may take up to a year to gain full strength. Dr M Vashishtha FRCS, dr-MV.com
