I am a female of age 55 recently I got tested for thyroid and my tsh is 23 , earlier I was taking 75 mg thyroxin but discontinued for last 2 months. Should I continue same dose or start from lower get tested then increase.

You may start with the same dose n get a repeat Thyoid profile done after 1 month if there is an improvement continue the same dose without any break for better results,empty stomach in the morning

You get the thyroid function tests repeated and adjust the dosage accordingly.Thyroxin is a replacement hormone and ideally couldn't be abruptly discontinued without your doctor's advice.
