Thyroid identified
I have a two year old kid. I had a c section for delivery and was affected by thyroid during pregnancy but post delivery i checked and it was normal (i don't remember if I took it during tablet intake). I checked a gynaecologist for the next baby planning and she suggested checking thyroid and to my surprise my thyroid level was 12pts. And she recommended waiting for another 2 months to plan. It's been a month now, can I try now or wait for more months to check my thyroid and plan a second pregnancy?

I hope you are taking your Thyroid medicine. You should get a TSH level done and consult with your Gynaecologist regarding whether further waiting is required or not.

Thyroid levels should be less than 2.5 prior to conception Dose adjustment takes 45 days to equilibrate the thyroid levels Repeat TSH after 45 days if less than 2.5 you can plan pregnancy
