During a routine annual checkup my mom was detected with low thyroid and high cholesterol. Please see the reports attached.
When we went to doctor. He informed us that my mom needs to take thyroid medicine through out her life once she starts medication. I want to know if she really requires medication or can this much deviation be managed from diet. I want to inform that my mom has been taking black salt without iodine for the last one year.
