Third molar (wisdom tooth)
About 1/4 of tooth comes out but most of the part are under skin (gums), And its paining ,i think due to infection. Dentist told me two things. 1. Cut the gums and let that tooth comes out. Or 2. Removal of tooth My question is "should i go with 1st option or 2nd ??

Hello. Wisdom teeth erupt at the age of 18-21 years. At times, due to factors like lack of space available for the eruption of tooth or forces on the tooth, the Wisdom tooth does not erupt in the oral cavity, and remains completely or partially impacted. An Impacted 3rd Molar causes complications such as caries to the adjacent tooth, pain in the jaw, cheeks, radiating pain to ear, neck, throat, reduced mouth opening and improper oral hygiene. Hence it is best advised to get the 3rd molar extracted/removed. Kindly visit a dentist for definitive diagnosis and treatment
