Thinning Hair with seborrheic dermatitis
Hello Dr. My age is 35. What are the causes of thinning hair and thick flakes? I m having hypothyroidism from past one decade. Did highlighting treatment, bymistakely bleach was kept for 2hrs on scalp hair from roots. Had chronic hairfall. But still that mishap results continued kya??? It's been a decade now. At this young age , 30 my hair turned entirely white. Miniaturized hair all over the hairline. Forehead hairline receded 10 inches back. Attached picture? I cannot regrow my hair back?? Tried minoxidil 2% but it's creates more hairfall. I m taking Orofer XT for anemic condition. Multivitamins, Biotin and omega tablets thn also why it's going backwards. 1/4 volume remaining of my original hair. Please help & advice in detail.

Hello dear. That's female pattern hair loss. You should not have given up on minoxidil. Yes, there is a transient hairfall after starting minoxidil. Treatment starts showing results in 6-8 months and long term treatment is required.

Keep those thyroid hormones under control. It is very important to be euthyroid meaning normal levels else even minoxidil won't help much

Don't worry...you are suffering from seborrheic dermatitis causing dandruff and hair thinning... Medicine available for good control... Treatment depends on the severity..Do direct online consultation for detailed prescription by sending more photos.
