The injury is now in 3 days almost healed and no pain. Do I worry about tetnus. I have a stiff neck and back. Can it be early tetnus sign

No .. it takes months to develop tetanus. First sign is jaw lock and whole body rigidity not just neck. But get a TT shot instead of carrying burden of anxiety .

Hello Sir, you already had tetanus shots 11 months and 19 months back, you are well protected no new tetanus injection is needed for this small injury. Stiff neck and back after 3 days are unlikely to be tetanus; they are more likely from posture, strain, or anxiety. If more questions are in your mind, you can contact me on WhatsApp at nine one one nine two five five six nine nine for free consultation.

Since you have taken a tetanus vaccine 11 months back, you are protected and do not need another dose right now. The wound is already healing well, and the chance of tetanus is extremely low. Tetanus usually develops in deep, contaminated wounds when immunization is not up to date. Your stiff neck and back are more likely due to muscle strain, posture, or anxiety rather than tetanus, especially since your wound is clean and almost healed. Classic tetanus symptoms usually begin with jaw stiffness (lockjaw), difficulty swallowing, and muscle spasms, which you do not report.
Next Steps
No need for another tetanus injection now. Keep the wound clean and dry until fully healed. If you develop symptoms like jaw stiffness, difficulty swallowing, muscle spasms, or high fever, seek urgent medical care. For current stiffness, try gentle stretching, warm compress, and adequate hydration/rest.
Health Tips
Tetanus booster is recommended every 10 years. Muscle stiffness without spasms is common and not usually tetanus-related. If symptoms worsen or new concerning signs appear, visit a doctor for evaluation.
