What test confirms polycythemia and is it serious? My haemoglobin levels were 18.5 in recent cbp. I do not smoke as well. Do I have polycythemia then ?

there are many causes for polycythemia and it could be physiological eg people living at high altitudes or pathological associated with heart kidney etc so kindly get proper assessment done
