Signs of polycythemia Vera when hb -20.3
I am 24yr old male . I thought of donating my blood today and I got to know that my hb level is 20.3 when tested on a sample from my left hand. When re- tested it was 18.5 on my right hand. So they did not allow me to donate my blood and suggested me to check for polycythemia Vera disease. So what should I do ? Whom should I consult?

First u should get CBC investigation. Check ur Hb level and hematocrit. R u smoker?
Check epo level.. u should consult ur physician.
