During preparation of crown on front teeth or incisors, usually after tooth reduction and preparation, is it necessary for temporary crown to be placed before permanent crown is ready... as it may take 3-4 days to get from the lab.. usually what are charges for temporary crown..? I consulted in one clinic they said its 10000per tooth and extra charge for temporary crown hence I asked this query...

Being the front teeth placing of temporary crowns are mainly for the esthetic purpose only .....The cost of the crown depends on the type of material used for crowns....Temporary crowns also costs separately.....charges varies from area to area

If u teeth are not root canal treated then they may have sensitivity, temporary crowns prevent sensitivity.

It is necessary for esthetic reasons only. If you have no problem with slightly smaller looking front teeth for just 3-4 days then you can go without it. It is charged extra.

hello mam, temporary crowns are given in front teeth region due to esthetic reasons because your teeth will appear smaller after crown preparation. cost of the crowns depend upon the type of crown you are choosing and temporary crowns are charged extra
