Hello
temporary crowns or Provisionals as they are called are generally made of acrylic material. In some cases it might be CAD-CAM crown ( hich is a bit costlier than traditional provisional crowns
Provisional restorations in implant therapy can be in
the form of removable or fixed prostheses. They are usually made up of resin or acrylic , but only if they are not in contact with the opposing teeth.
The cost may vary from 7k to 10k as an abutment is also required to connect crown to the implant.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist and get an insight of the complete protocol.
Temporary crowns can me made with acrylic or pmma but only if it is not in contact with the opposing teeth for example in the front teeth
The cost can vary from 8-10k as a special temporary abutment is also necessary to connect the crown to the implant
Next Steps
If the doctor has specifically informed that it is not the best to place a temporary crown we should avoid as it could hamper the Osseointegration
