Swollen lip after dental procedure
I had a dental procedure(root canal) in my upper front teeth a week ago. Immediately after the treatment my upper lip was extremely swollen, though it has subsided a little my lip is still fat. What could be the cause and Is there any remedy for this?

If the swelling is gradually reducing or is not constant it is not something to worry about. The most common reason for such incidents is subconsciously biting the lip before the effect of anaesthesia wears off. Because it has been more than 24hours, you can apply moist fomentation on the lip and do warm saline rinses multiple times. You can also contact your dentist who can evaluate the situation better by a proper clinical examination. Regards.
