If you have been diagnosed with hypertension and have been advised to take antihypertensive medicine by a doctor  but you being a over smart person who thinks your friends known more than your doctor ends up   listening  to your friends and don't take the medicine thinking that if you take one's you will have to take for whole life then you don't need to worry much  slowly slowly your untreated hypertension will change into cardiovascular disease which may lead to MI or stroke which is life threatening If u survive then you  will need more than just bp medicine and if you don't then problem solved you won't need any medicine atall as there won't be a life. Moral of the story is don't listen to your friends listen to your doctor if still you have doubt then please go meet your treating doctor and clear all your doubts ok.
