Depends on the condition how much cavity has been extend.. treatment will be provide, and plaque, pyorrhoea problem can be solve by scaling and some mouthwash..

Depending on how much the cavity has progressed he will need a restoration or a root canal followed by crown. And the pyorrhaea problem can be taken care of by good scaling (professional cleaning).
