It would not be possible to give a rational looking without a look at the clinical condition of the teeth but as a General suggestion, we would prefer to avoid Trimming of the teeth. Yes it can be shortened to a limit of 1-2 mm after that depth u may feel sensitivity,if u want to reduce further then root canal treatment has to be done  bfre that,and then reduce..and u and go for cap placement after that...it's also called as smile design..it's can range from 3-5k for RCT of single tooth and cap from around 3-9k depending on the material u choose.varies from place to place

You are asking this Q probably because your front two teeth are proclined (forward). Whatever it may be but shortening definitely is not the way out. Go for braces for correction.
