no this is not true. its always advisable to get the implants immediately so as to avoid a unneccessary surgical part. it can be done now only. but if you wait the new bone begins to form and tissue shrinks than we have to wait for atleast 6 months in case of upper teeth. a lot depend on the condition of the surrounding bone.
Next Steps
vist a prosthodontist near you or an oral surgeon

Its not always required..we can place implants along with extraction of tooth...your current clinical situation is not clear..have you extracted the entire tooth???or just lost the crown portion...if its a fracture of crown portion, there are many other treatment options also....for a completely extracted tooth, you can wait 3-6 mths for adequate bone formation...in the mean time u may use other prosthetic options to replace tooth temporarily
Next Steps
consult an implantologist

Hello, In my opinion u can get ur implants now itself.. but I cannot confirm without confirmation of the exact oral health.. in most cases we give a temporary crown after a implant
Health Tips
The above treatment plan is not confirmatory.. always understand no 2 doctors will have same opinions and treatment plans... both of them can be right...
