Hi mam... Tooth ache ay be due to cavitation or wisdom teeth ...    In case of cavitation, the infection spreads periapically and cause swellimg of gums and cheeks..   Both clinical and radiographic examination is necessary to rule out the cause.... Get x_ray (IOPA) of the involved tooth to rule out the cause... If the swelling is due to cavitation you nee to undergo Root canal treatment... If the swelling is due to wisdom teeth you need to undergo surgical removal of wisdom teeth ..
Next Steps
kindly visit nearby dentist for furthur consulation and management..and take medications as prescribed...
Health Tips
Avoid self medication...Medication is only a temporary relief ..

You need to consult a dentist who will treat the infected tooth. Taking antibiotics may only suppress the pain for a few days
