Google is not substitute for medical or dental procedures! Every thing one does has some pros and cons usually pros outweighing cons!! Tartar removal causes bone loss and not removal of it, if its too much long with severe bone loss, it will become shaky! And if you don’t get it removed they all will fall on its own!!! Filling so far is the least conservative method of removal of decay!! I dont think any reason which could possibly outweigh to NOT to fill up the teeth Its good to be informed and know bout it , but please let teh doctor see and evaluate it clinically

Removal of tartar makes the teeth and gums stronger. The issue is some patients come with loads of tartar without realising the damage it has already done. Their bone levels are already very compromised and teeth are held together by tartar instead of bone and gums that’s when the patient FEELS after scaling that his teeth have become mobile but that’s not true. As for fillings some patients do have postoperative sensitivity but it subsides.

Removal of tartar makes your tooth and gums strong and doing a filling will prevent your teeth from further decay and it won't cause sensitivity and all.... If you don't maintain your oral hygiene, you will lose your teeth very soon.... So if you have tartar and decay, consult with your Dentist and do a cleaning and filling.... Cleaning and filling is a very minor procedure, you don't have to worry about it...

First of all STOP consulting Dr. Google . Tartar is present between gums and tooth, when it is removed there is some looseness that patient feels and it takes sometime for the gum to reattach to the tooth as the tartar is removed. Sensitivity regarding to filling depends on the type of cavity and condition of the tooth & your overall maintenance of oral hygiene. There are fillings available which literally don’t have side effects. Rest depends on your choice of materials.
