Tartar and plaque
I have tartar and plaque formed on my teeth. Doctor recommended me for scaling. Will scaling loose my teeth in future? And are there any side effects of scaling??

There is no side effects. But there will be sensitivity post scaling for 2 days. Still if you worry , go for an immediate fluoride application after scaling Hope this helps you.

Scaling won't affect your teeth. And if you won't take the treatment, with the time you will have inflammation of gums, bleeding gums, bad smell etc. symptoms. Its good to have oral prophylaxis and hygiene always .

Scaling is a part of your regular professional hygiene. Ultrasonic scalers are safe Minor sensitivity will be there and if tar is high mild gaps can form which can be flossed and maintained

Scaling will not loosen your teeth.. having tartar and plaque for long time will weaken your gums which will in turn loosen your teeth so go ahead for scaling
Health Tips
Brush your teeth twice daily and gargle your mouth after all meals this will help you maintain a good oral hygiene
