Several grayish black discolouration inside the mouth in the areas of upper jaw and inside the cheeks.
Tartar formation on the left side of the jaws in the teeth .
Can you please tell the reason for the discolouration and patches formed as well as the tartar and the treatment for the following?
Is this discolouration a sign of some other disease like some oral cancer and all?
while i've googled this i found that the discolouration may be due to oral cancer or can be a symptom of oral cancer; though i only have the grayish black discolouration or pigmentation.

They are mostly just patches of hyper-pigmentation which are very normal. If they burn, itch, ache or you are able to feel them with your tongue, it's best to get it checked by a dentist. Tartar is also a buildup of mouth debris which can be removed by a dentist. It's advised to get this removal (scaling) done once a year, and once in 6 months if you are a smoker
Next Steps
check and see based on the above- mentioned signs

These patches can be due to several reasons . They can be precancerous lesions , traumatic ulcerations etc . But the most important thing is are you having a habit of tobacco chewing , smoking? Else these can be just hyper pigmented spots .
