Dear Patient, Thank you for sharing your query. Based on the information provided, it seems that you received your last vaccination on January 5, 2025, and the cat scratch occurred on March 17, 2025. Since the scratch was minor and there was no blood, and considering that your last vaccination is still within the 3-month protection period, the risk of rabies is likely low. However, rabies is a serious condition, and it’s important to ensure that all precautions are taken. Here are a few steps you should consider: 1. **Monitor the Scratch**: Keep an eye on the scratch for any signs of infection, such as redness, swelling, or pain. Clean the area thoroughly with soap and water. 2. **Consult a Specialist**: While the risk may be low, it’s always best to consult a healthcare provider for a thorough evaluation. They can assess the scratch and your vaccination history to determine if any further action is needed. 3. **Avoid Self-Medication**: Do not take any medications or additional vaccinations without professional advice. Given the importance of ensuring your safety, I strongly recommend scheduling a consultation with me for a detailed assessment. Please feel free to reach out to me on WhatsApp at **eight zero zero nine eight two one three three two** to discuss further or to book an appointment.
