Tailbone pain
I have tailbone pain for the past  one month and it was very mild pain one year back.Since from last one month it has increasedand  whenever I sit for a long time it starts paining. I started using a donut cushion and today I consulted an orthopedic surgeon and he suggested  X ray. After looking into xray report he said it is sacro coccyxgeal instability and it cannot be corrected by medicines and physiotherapy and the only solution is surgery. What's the reason for this sudden coccyx pain And is there any other solution for this problem? I had a C section delivery in the year 2022 and fistula surgery in the year 2023 (jan)and no injury.

Coccygodynia can be a little challenging to manage. Apart from physiotherapy and exercises, simple injection to coccyx may help in 60-70% of cases. Would be better to get an MRI done to look for any soft tissue swelling.
Next Steps
Consult with a Pain Management Clinic.
Health Tips
Avoid sitting on hard surfaces.
