Tailbone injury
Hi doctor, I had a tailbone injury 9 months back. The pain is 70% ok now but if exterted at that area pain returns. I am not able to sit properly and sometimes sleeping also increases pain , only lying on tummy relieves pressure.i have gone through 15 days physiotherapy session of and had helped me a little in reliving pain slightly. Plz advise

Hi, you got coccydynia. You can sit with doughnut pillow. If nothing helps -injection in the tender will help you.

It's a chronic problem, physiotherapy suffice and  coccyx pillow

Continue with Physiotherapy and sitz bath at home. Use coccydynia pillow to sit. Add LASER therapy for faster healing. It takes 4 to 6 weeks to recover with Physiotherapy
