I have a 8 months old baby and breastfeeding and this slight swollen and itching on the aerola is present. Please help me identify what it is and its treatment. Thank you

After every feed keep the nipple and surrounding areas dry and you may apply simple cream . That will keep away infection. Swelling is common. Dnt worry abt that. It will subside.For more questions, kindly consult with me on 94 two six eight six 78 nine six.

Slight swelling and itching on the areola while breastfeeding is often due to skin irritation, a mild latch issue, or occasionally a yeast infection, and the photo doesn't show anything alarming.
