Sadly dental problems almost always need active treatment and are never sorted by medicines alone. See a dentist and get your gum disease treated immediately. Delaying will only lead to further complications.

Please understand that this problem cannot be corrected only by home remedies..... you need to visit a dentist..... most likely you will be requiring a session of tooth cleaning followed by a guidance about proper brushing technique...... interdental cleaning aids like interdental brushes or floss will also be advised to you..... proper medicated mouthwashes can also be advised as per the requirements..... Regards.....

You need an adequate  gum treatment  followed by home regime which includes mouthwashes etc  but nothing will really help unless the causative factors are eliminated for which you need to see a dentist

Hello..swollen gums may be due to deposits or decay between teeth due to which food is getting struck.scaling treatment can be done or if it is due to decayed tooth after proper clinical and radiographic examination treatment can be done.kindly visit nearby dentist.

Hello Dear Practo user, As you are facing the food stuck and swollen gums issue that means in that particular area either you have cavity or gingival recession (gums lining lowered compared to normal) so you need particular treatment for that (either rct or filling or may be some gum surgery), you should not neglect it and should not late in your dental visit otherwise you will face more problems later on, till then you can massage your gums with any gum astringent (Hi-Ora Ga Gum paint or Dentakind Gum paint) but always remember this is temporarily working, final treatment should be done after proper examination by your dentist. Thanks. DR.CHIRAG K NEBHANI (AHMEDABAD)
