Swollen eyelid after sleep
My 4 years old daughter has swollen left eyelid after she wakes up in the morning and gradually it reduced. Then after a nap in the noon again the right eyelid becomes little swollen and it reduces gradually. Is there any serious problem. This is the first time she shows up this kind of symptom.

Eye swelling only after she wakes up from sleep can be related to insect bite or kidney related problem as well. Keep a check on her feet swelling or any other body part swelling. Watch for her urine output.. use mosquito nets when she sleeps to rule out any insect bite.
Next Steps
if swelling continues even thereafter, get a Pediatrician examination.

Check if she is passing urine well.. swelling around eyes could be because of kidney issues or due to eye issues in itself.. it could also be because of positional sleeping leading to swelling around one eye in morning and other in afternoon.. first rule out if it positional.. else get her to nearby paediatrician
Next Steps
watch for swelling over face and other parts of body.. also watch for abdominal distension anf urine output.. show nearby pediatrician earliest if swelling doesnt subside
