Care AI Shimmer
To treat a wasp sting, wash the area with soap and water, apply an ice pack for 15–20 minutes, and elevate your hand to reduce swelling. Take an antihistamine (e.g., cetirizine) for itching and swelling, and use a pain reliever like paracetamol or ibuprofen if needed. Apply hydrocortisone cream or calamine lotion for local relief. Home remedies like baking soda paste or aloe vera gel can soothe the area. Monitor for allergic reactions, such as breathing difficulty or facial swelling, and seek medical attention if symptoms worsen or if there are signs of infection, such as pus or increased redness.
